Ominouser and ominouser…!
Also, really nice light effects in the final panels.
Damn’d! Can’t wait to know who (what?) is early…
Ahh, I take it the Nine Unknowns will be paying a visit?
are the 9 coming to pay a call perhaps…?
Hmm. Sounds like these people are visiting:
By remembering the past, Father Jacky knows that Win will be present when he is needed. Win had a trip planned to visit HPL at this time, at whose instigation we know not. And his scar, and, to a lesser degree, Nan’s, resembles a -key-.
If someone reads an HPL story while listening to the right piece by Erich Zann, is their power invoked?
Another question–are Father Jackey and Ned the only ones who see this, or do they all see it?
That Ned is just a very aware cat.
Somehow the animals always are the first to know… heh. I would also like to compliment the light effect on the last two panels, very celestial.
And we still don’t know what Kartophilus/St. Germaine believes his destiny to be. Is it simply to wipe out humankind, or is there something else that we don’t yet see?
And whose treachery will trump whom’s?
Well, the Amazing Tumor-Man has 12 centuries of experience in Sinister Plots, so if I were a betting man, I’d put my money on him to be the one still standing when the other cultist’s plans finish playing out…of course, our, er, heroes(?) may be a wild card.
How many sentient cats are in in this saga?
Is there a Ulthar thing going on?
I’m calling it. I-found-Lovecraft.
( unless his Epsy , Randalph Carter is making an appearance. THAT would be trippy )
on that same note, there seems to be a paucity of guesses, and curiosity surrounding the central mystery of the tale. Larry, have you invoked some arcane ocuult ritual to cloud the minds of the readers? My physical proximity to the tales settings must be inurred me to these dark charms.
The masked, diapered “Hindoo” leading the good guys.
“We are doing what must be done” .
But If you were not expecting Physical-Astral travel, cosmic time-travel, and body-swapping/stealing to lead to you Lovecraft, well then , you need to read the dream cycle. INMHO
