I like Father Jacky’s attitude in the first panel. By now, his nerves must be made of moly steel. But the other folks are probably not prepared for this. Was it Pickman’s work, or Luther’s, I wonder. In any case, Kartophilos no longer has the boy and the priest separated. Or was this Kartophilos’s doing?
That don’t make no kinda sense. This is getting gol-danged ridiculous. W-wh–which way is….up….?? The insanity mounts, but our heroes are still sane enough to recognize it. Thanks for another fine page!
I do like the way you’re melding period horror with a bit of retro-futurism — if reality is bending anyway, and we have some “weird science” going on, it’s perfectly reasonably to assume that some of the latter shows up in the technology as well (at least among those who are aware of and working in these areas). And, yes, I appreciated the “different Cray” not-quite-anachronism.
Still looking forward to eventually finding out what Howard himself has been up to.
Keep up the good work!
I just wanted to say that I have LOVED H.P. Lovecraft forever, and you do him so much justice. I look forward to your updates and check them everyday. If Lovecraft could see your work I bet he would impressed ^_^

Shucks! I was looking forward to the “battle of the ticklers”.

The transport of Nan & the Battler clearly a case of quantum teleportation; Luther definitely ahead of his time!
Incidentally this is the 180th picture in the series, for 178 separate days (10/1/2008 was in three pieces). Thanks! Keep up the brilliant work!

So that’s why their last panel was being wiped away.
