This week, Lovecraft is Missing begins it’s fifth year of publication! Ah, how time flies. But I’m pretty proud of getting this far. There have been some stumbles along the way, and it would be nice to get on to other projects, but I will see my child through to his maturity. I’ve lost the current count on number of pages, but I know that we will hit 200 before the end of the year. That’s roughly 10 issues of a regular comic, and there are at least 100 more to go to bring all these threads to conclusion. But hooray for all of us.
I still haven’t gotten around to watching the Call of Cthulhu video game, but patience will be rewarded. As noted, it’s an older game and the sound won’t play on my system, so I don’t think I’ll get very far in the player experience, but hopefully enough to give a good report.
We’re up to 896 friends on Facebook. If there are some of you who haven’t joined in, please do and let’s get over that 900 mark. Same goes with voting for LIM at Top Web Comics. These are my little rewards, as well as free advertising. I’m glad to say the readership quickly got back to pre-hiatus levels, but I would like to grow it as much as possible. Right now we’re getting an avearge 2500 views on Fridays’, and it stays just under 2,ooo per day the rest of the week. I have no way of knowing how many people are repeat customers and how many come once and never return, but the consistency of the numbers tells me I have a nice-size fan base (or eight people with nothing better to do all day.)
Don’t know who the Artist for next week will be. Probably Doré, but I’ve tried to alternate between the contemporary and the past. Wednesday, then, will be a surprise for you.
Have a good weekend.
