The Parades Gone By: Hidden Dangers
I like serials, I don’t think that’s any secret. Every now and again I get a really nice, obscure item that has a lot more to it than a lobby card. That’s the case with this press book for the 1920 serial, Hidden Dangers, starring Joe Ryan and Jean Page. The booklet has a complete chapter-by-chapter novelization to run in the newspapers, pre-written publicity stories for the same, plus pictures of all the posters available for the various chapters. It was S.O.P to issue different one-sheets, three -sheets and billboard size six-sheets for each chapter! Today, I share with you all these poster treats, since the likelihood that anything more than a few one-sheets and lobby cards survived. The film is also lost.

Those are wonderful! Its like a catalogue lists of dangers for the protagonist
. The info on the press kit is great too. When you say you discovered it, do you mean you purchased the artifact or you found it in a reference library?

Bought it from another collector some years back.
