well obviously i cant comment without suggesting a moment’s silence for the kitty.
…
now:
looks like an ugly corpse in water to me.
notice the angle of light and the sheen on the glass, plus the difference in colour. the main body of the scene is dark and dingey, but the corpse has a more aquatic feel to the colour. i also just noticed the hair appears to be waving around as if under water.
not sure if i’m seeing lifelessness in those eyes or just a guant facial expression.
if you concider it’s potential non-humantiy, it could indeed be living under water in some sort of tank, but something tells me this isnt so.
(Regarding the video link you’re going to put up Friday) I saw that video the same day I heard a song on the radio from the early 90s about nightmares with the chorus lyrics in rough translation to English ” I am so afraid, I am so afraid to go asleep, since when I go asleep the dreams start to come” It is unusual in the way that it is made by two rappers who sound scared stiff through the whole song. It is in a language that I don’t think you understand but perhaps some of the mood gets through as it is one of the the best nightmare songs I ever heard. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5NY2peJAR8c
is the dead cat a reference to The Cats of Ulthar . there are so many subtle and not so subtle references to Lovecraft in this i have spent the whole day trying to find them all.
my only criticism to the comic is that i found it to soon. now i will have to wait for the weekly updates to this splendidly well written and illustrated comic.

Poor kitty.

I think we’re all a little upset about the poor kitty.
And… Holy Crow indeed. Is that behind glass? If it is, is that any reassurance?

Kitty! </3
(It's kind of funny, intrinsic preciousness of cats seems to be the only thing a majority of the Internet can agree upon.)
*examines the most recent creepy guy* Heh, prehistoric in construction…

There’s only one word to say WOW!
I found your site last week and have been avidly reading it during my lunch break, just caught up.
Excellent story, artwork and everything Lovecraftian.

The Thing in the Tank looks kinda like Hib Mercy to me. Doubtless just a paranoid fancy.

“Wowzer…” Okay, first Scooby reference I’ve caught. And I love it. Pass the Dafnee please.

‘Wowzer’ predates ol’ Scoob, as I used it as a kid and that was before the Flintstones debuted on tv.
